If you have always wondered if your dog truly loves you then you’re going to be glad this new study exists that focuses on dog’s heartbeats whenever they are around their owners!
New research commissioned by Canine Cottages found that the average heart rate of a dog is around 67 beats per minutes and that whenever an owner told their pet that they loved them their heart rate increased to an average of 98 beats per minute.
When cuddling with their owner, the average heart rate decreased by 23% to 52 beats per minute which meant that they were calm relaxed when being right next to their owner.
Just goes to show that even if they don’t show it sometimes that your dog loves you a lot!
