Going to the bathroom just got even less private thanks to a new innovation in Tokyo!
The city has installed two see-through bathroom facilities in public parks and they were intended to let people see how clean they are before using them.
Once someone closes and locks the door the windows get frosted and turn opaque, which gives your privacy, but you already know that people are going to forget to lock the door!
You won’t be able to tell if the windows are frosted from inside the bathroom so while nobody can see you going, if you locked the door, you’ll still be able to see people walking when handling your business.
You can see how they are supposed to work below!
