Sometimes science just goes too far, which is the case with scientists currently work on alternatives to make chocolate milk healthier by using coffee and peanut waste!
While dark chocolate can have health benefits, chocolate milk for the most part doesn’t, but scientists are currently working on a new way to combine milk chocolate with waste peanut skins and other wastes to boost its antioxidant properties.
To create their antioxidant-boosted milk chocolate, the team of researchers worked with peanut companies to obtain the peanut skins. From there, they ground the skins into a powder to give chocolate milk more antioxidants.
Now we’re all for being healthy, but just don’t tell us we’re eating/drinking the parts nobody wants when they make coffee and peanut products!
