Eight days after George Floyd was murdered by white police officer Derek Chauvin, protests against police brutality and anti-Black racism continue across the U.S.
Chauvin was arrested, while the other 3 officers who stood by and did nothing have not been arrested. Hawthorne has been a part of the protests and will continue to be a part of them until change comes for all Black Americans.
