1. Researchers at the California Academy of Sciences discovered 71 new species this year, including 15 geckos, 6 sea slugs, five spiders, two lizards, and a bright purple type of fish they named “wakanda” in honor of “Black Panther”.
2. Scientists in Denmark did an in-depth study to find out if tapping a BEER CAN that’s been shaken up really prevents it from foaming. They used a mechanical shaker, went through 1,000 beers, and found that NO, it doesn’t make a difference.

4. The oldest cave art ever discovered was recently found in Indonesia. It was painted around 44,000 years ago.
5. And a study in the U.K. found that female monkeys tend to live longer if they have ‘BFFs’, as in “best friends forever.”
