There are so many amazing things about being in a relationship, but the ways you are spending your money while being in a relationship, not so much. New research suggests that being in a relationship will definitely cost you some serious bucks.
According to a survey just out from Lloyd’s Bank in the U.K., being part of a couple is actually pretty expensive. The bank asked more than 4,000 adults about their relationship status and how they were doing financially and survey found that singles are doing better financially than those that are coupled up.
The research concluded that being in a relationship can cost you a whopping $4,630.55 a year. So being single can totally be good for your bank account, because you won’t feel the pressures of a being couples when it comes to spending lots of money on presents around anniversaries, birthdays, and Christmas.
