It’s no secret that for some people, all sorts of manners and etiquette go out the window when they step on a plane, and one passenger unfortunately had to endure some major grossness on a recent flight.
A Reddit user who goes by WoodySoprano recently posted a photo which shows her looking distraught, and rightfully so. Right above the woman it’s clear to see that a passenger has their bare dirty feet resting right above her head on the headrest. She captioned the post “going to be a long flight.”
The post quickly went viral, with more than a thousand comments, with many suggesting she should have confronted the offending passenger.Here were some of our favorites:
- “You should never suffer in silence, never. Even as a passenger,” one person noted, adding, “I don’t get it at all. I would get up the moment I felt someone put their feet there.”
- Others suggested she should have alerted a flight attendant, and some posters even shared their similar experiences with gross passengers.
- “The guy behind me took off his shoes and shoved his feet between the seats, pushing my elbow forward with his nasty unwashed feet,” one person shared. “I asked him to put his feet down, he refused.” The guy eventually put them down but not for long, which is when the passenger decided to get revenge. He took the fork he was given during meal service and stabbed the guy’s feet every time he put them up again
