Good looks are nice and all, but people really want to marry someone who’s kind. Swansea University researchers polled over 2,700 college students and found the most important trait they named when choosing a partner was kindness. They got to rank eight traits: physicall attractiveness, good financial prospects, kindness, humor, chastity, religiosity, the desire for children, and creativity. Kindness came out on top, followed by physical attractiveness, and good financial prospects. Coming in seventh and eigth places were religiosity and chastity, respectively.
