We can all thank Tik Tok for giving us all the memes, challenges, and content we all consume now because Tik Tok not only gave us “Old Town Road,” but now it is giving us the newest dance challenge: “The Git Up!”
Blanco Brown and Lainey Wilson teamed up to create a song for people to dance to during the summer, but thanks to Tik Tok it’s become the next “Wobble,” “Cha Cha Slide,” or “Cupid Shuffle!”
“The Git Up” got super viral thanks to a TikTok from an English student dancing in class to the song, which eventually got him suspended, but has had over 3.4 million views.
