We don’t think this is what activist groups should really be fighting for on a daily basis, but a group in Brooklyn, New York is asking Ounce Water to take their product off of shelves becaue the packaging resembles a bottle of malt liquor.
Ounce Water was founded in 2015 and while it is simply a water company that puts its water in large containers that are either 20 or 40 ounces.
However, the labeling of the bottle looks like the Old English malt liquor bottles. This is why the activist group Breukelen RISE, an organization looking to serve at-risk youth in the area, is asking for the company to reconsider it’s packaging to not lead teens and kids to be in the habit of buying thing
