Imagine if Instagrammers constantly blocked your street? That would be super annoying. So you can imagine how the residents of Rue Cremieux in Paris, France, are feeling. The street has cobblestones and colorful houses, and over the years thousands of tourists have stopped to snap photos along it.
But now residents who live on the street are demanding the city council install gates to keep tourists off the street during peak hours of the day. One resident said, “We sit down to eat and just outside we have people taking photos- rappers who take two hours to film a video right beneath the window, or bachelorette parties who scream for an hour. Frankly, it’s exhausting.”
