Compliments are so wonderful to receive and even more wonderful to give. It works both ways and when it comes from a place of genuineness, it can do so much.
The physical and emotional health benefits associated with acts of kindness include increased productivity, decreased stress, pain and insomnia, as well as, beneficial effects to the immune system and production of serotonin.
Compliments feel good. And so do smiles…and you get smiles in return when you give genuine compliments to people. Taking time to be kind and seek out ways to compliment can nurture any relationship.
