Forget a mini bottle of champagne or a tiny frame– more and more couples are opting to have tattoo artists at their weddings who give tattoos as wedding favors. Tattoo artist Robert Fiore, from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, has been tattooing for 22 years, and recently made weddings his whole business. Since last June he’s gotten more than 2,000 inquiries for his service. For each event he says he creates four to six small designs (about he size of a golf ball) that guests can choose from. He says he tattoos on legs, arms, or shoulders, but chests and other more risque body parts are generally off-limits. And it’s not just heavily tattooed people who seek out his services, he says, “Couples and guests who wouldn’t generally seek out a tattoo, when they’re amongst their family and friends, they’re feeling the moment. That would be the one time that someone who has no interest in getting tattooed would.” Would you ever get a tattoo while attending a wedding?
