It’s been an eventful day for Canada at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games! Canada has kept up it’s steady flow of medals at the games.
Canada dominated the women’s ski cross event. Kelsey Serwa took home a gold medal for Canada and Brittany Phelan got the silver medal in the very same event.
Canada broke it’s own record today when Kaetlyn Osmond won the bronze medal in women’s figure skating. It was Canada‘s 27th medal at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. That is one more than Canada‘s previous Winter Olympic record, which was 26 medals at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
There are still more events to come before this year’s games wrap up so here’s hoping that Canada gets a few more medals!
