The 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics continue!
Earlier today Canada‘s women’s hockey time just barely lost to the U.S. The game was close and came down to a shootout where the U.S.‘s team took the gold medal, leaving Canada with the silver medal. This was the first gold medal for women’s hockey that the U.S. has ever won.
Canada has still been steadily pulling in more medals, though. Kim Boutin won the silver medal in women’s 1000m short track speedskating. She also won bronze in both women’s 500m and 1500m earlier in the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Canada also won a bronze medal today in men’s short track speedskating 5000m relay.
Do you think the Olympics should continue to do shootouts during hockey games, or maybe do extended overtime?
