Is there anything she can’t do? Lady Gaga is a noted wine enthusiast (on “Telephone” she talks about “being out at the club” “sippin’ that bub”) and now she is ready to get in on the action. Grigio Girls (a reference to a song on Joanne) is reportedly a tribute to her music and a friend who has cancer. No word yet on when the wine will hit shelves. Gaga joins a long and storied line of Hollywood, including Drew Barrymore, Kyle MacLachlan, Lil Jon and Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie. Will you buy a bottle?
Christie Brinkley first posed for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue in 1979. Almost four decades later, she’s back for “one last go.” The 63-year-old ex-supermodel is featured in the issue hitting newsstands on Feb. 15 in a red bikini and in a black one-piece next to daughters, Alexa Ray Joel, 31, and Sailor Brinkley Cook, 18, Brinkley says she needed some convincing to take part in the photo shoot but hopes she can “remove some of the fear of aging” and change how women are viewed in an “ageist” society.
Alec Baldwin may be getting bored with impersonating Donald Trump on SNL. A source says “Alec had fun doing SNL for a few weeks but now he is over playing Trump every week. He doesn’t want to do the show every Saturday for the next 4 or 8 years. He will host the show on February 11th and then wants to take a break. Now they are looking for someone else to play The President. They cannot rely on Baldwin and his temperamental mood swings.”
Sorry, Jason fans, but it seems everyone’s favourite goalie-masked serial killer isn’t coming back from the dead any time soon. After reboots of A Nightmare on Elm Street and, more recently, the Rings franchise failed to stick, a planned revival of the Friday the 13th horror series is being sent to the morgue.
