Foster Parent Recognition Awards
Posted Tuesday, October 27, 2009
The Foster Parent Recognition awards were held this year at The Greek Orthodox Hall in Belleville and Mix97's Orlena Cain was their emcee for the night. There were over 100 people in attendance in honour of the many foster parents in the Quinte West Area. The Hastings Children's Aid Society holds the annual event to inspire, encourage and acknowledge the many efforts of over 200 foster parent families. That may sound like a large number but more could be involved. Contact your local Children's Aid to find out more.
